The Hispanic Federation's Annual Spring Gala is a lavish and star-studded event which raises millions of dollars for Latino causes while paying tribute to a vast array of amazing individuals and institutions. With Lin-Manuel Miranda as Gala Chair, it is the premier Latino benefit gala in the nation, and one of the most anticipated events of the year.
Set in the world-famous American Museum of Natural History in New York City, in the spectacular Hall of Ocean Life, the gala has celebrated such luminaries as Ricky Martin, Rita Moreno, Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Carolina Herrera, America Ferrara, Oscar de la Renta, John Leguizamo, and Celia Cruz.
The Federation's Annual Spring Gala is also a place where more than 900 individuals from the private, public and nonprofit sector come together to showcase cutting-edge social philanthropy, and how it positively impacts the Latino community. Key corporations honored include Morgan Stanley, Prudential Financial, Grupo Salinas, Verizon, Citibank, Popular Bank, Comcast/NBCUniversal/Telemundo, Coca-Cola, and many others.
Equally important, the gala allows the Federation to continue its incredible work, including:
Grant making totaling millions of dollars to essential Latino grassroots social service agencies nationwide
HF's UNIDOS Puerto Rico Disaster Relief and Recovery initiative, which is helping 750,000 individuals, and seeding $30 million dollars towards 80 pioneering recovery projects on the island
Defending Latino immigrants nationwide, including unaccompanied minors and families on the border
Launching the Somos Orlando multi-service initiative after the tragic 2016 Pulse Nightclub tragedy in Florida
Come join us! The Federation's gala is a fun and festive event, with incredible music and entertainment during the show, and an amazing after party where guests can kick off their heels and dance the night away. It is a fantastic time you won't soon forget!
